The school is located in a world-famous fly fishing area: the valley of the River Test, one of the classic English chalkstreams. Classes are held at attractive and well-stocked small lakes in the Test Valley countryside.

School founder and chief instructor is Jerry Wakeford (left), a STANIC registered teacher with well over 30 years' fly fishing experience under his belt. We hold classes for all levels of expertise, from beginners to advanced, either one-on-one or in your own group if you prefer, and with our expert tuition, we guarantee that you will leave as a better flyfisher than when you arrived!

If you're visiting this area for the first time, we can assure you that the central Test valley is a delightful part of Southern England. When you're not fishing there's plenty to do in the area, and there's no need for other family members to be bored. For example, just down the road is the charming old country town of Romsey, with accommodation, restaurants, a well-known mediaeval abbey church, and the famous Broadlands, family home of the late Lord Mountbatten of Burma. The historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury are also near at hand.
